I started to write this post about bag charms time ago so I thought it was time to finish writing it and to publish it.
As I often written, I’ve never liked fancy bags. Those seasonal it-bags, colorful and sometimes very impractical but very “instagrammable” are not for me.
But bag charms? I love them!
When the trend started, I didn’t like it because it was most of all about furry pompoms, which I don’t like at all. Some girls even attached 4/5 of those incredibly expensive furry charms at their bag. Small bags almost disappeared, hidden by all that colorful fur. I find furry charms a bit childish and dust/dirt attracting (ok, I’m a germaphobe, I confess! 😳 )
So bag charms became so popular and a lot brands started making them, in any material, shape and color.
I love metallic and enamel ones, letters, tassels… everything except for pompoms! I have a super cute charm my sister brought me from Japan which is a tiny hand mirror with a tiny bell.
Keyrings can be used as bag charms, some are so cute that keeping them in our bags and pockets would be a pity. I also like some luggage tags.
If you like DYI, you can create very cute bag charms with many sort of things. I’m so disappointed that I threw away a pair of earrings with pink dinosaurs (I think I never worn them, I don’t even know why I bought them!), I could put together a very cute bag charm using them (the dinos).
These are 10 bag charms I chose for you.
