This week for Beauty for the Weekend I chose another product by Kiko.
It’s Perfect Picture, a serum that is supposed to make your skin perfect for photos (it’s the year of selfies, after all).
This smoothing serum is a limited edition, I bought it some weeks ago, and now I can write my review.
I like its pearlescent texture, its delicate and good smell and the consistence (not too liquid and not too thick).
It comes in a bottle of opaque glass (which preserves better the product) with a dispenser (hygienic and easy to dose).
It limits the loss of water of your skin so it stays moisturized and the makeup lasts more.
Said that, I think it works because when I use it my skin looks glowing and healthy but don’t expect it to look like you’ve been photoshopped, “filtered” or “Beautified” (love this app!), because makeup artists use all these products since we had no idea they even existed and Photoshop is still alive and kicking, used and abused.
There’re two ways to apply Kiko Perfect Picture: after cleansing your skin, before applying moisturizer and makeup, just like every serum; after your complete beauty routine, makeup included, to give the final touch.
I prefer the first way, absolutely (I feel like I would ruin my makeup applying the serum while everything is done and I think it works better used a traditional serum) but if you don’t use foundation then let Perfect Picture be the final touch to make your skin glowing.
Like most of Kiko’s products it’s not particularly expensive, 13.90£, 13,90€ for 30 ml of product.
So, would I recommend you to buy this serum? Yes!
