I decided to update this old post about lipstick, one of the most feminine things ever, because meanwhile, a few years later, I’ve become a kind of “lipstick girl”. Also, some of my old posts, written when I was on Blogger, look pretty bad so they really need a restyling! So, for the title I chose a Tom Ford quote that I consider very true.
This is what I wrote almost four years ago:
Do you use it (lipstick)? I don’t, really. I mean, I have some but I don’t use them as much as I wish, because when I do my make up I usually focus on the eyes (and colored lip balms are a great invention). But I have a favorite lipstick, which is Chanel Rouge Coco Shine (col. 62, Monte-Carlo). I also have Rouge Allure in color Passion, which is very beautiful and chic, but a bit more eye-catching, so I hardly use it (honestly, when I saw the beautiful commercial, years ago, I thought that buying it was absolutely necessary!). Then, I have other lipsticks, but not really expensive, so I don’t feel particularly guilty about their purchase.
