Sometimes we spend a lot of money to buy beauty products (which is great, make us feel good and sustains the economy) but we should remember that we can also use natural ingredients and have good results.
I have about 5-6 different facial masks (just bought new ones in travel sizes, the best way to try new products without spending too much and avoid expensive disappointments) but once in a while I like to use a homemade purifying mask.
You only need yogurt and honey. Blend a spoon of yogurt (I use the one I eat, which is plain yogurt) and a teaspoon of honey (I use acacia-blossom honey) and apply on your cleansed face for about 10 minutes.
Yogurt purifies and gently exfoliates the skin and honey nourishes and makes it very soft (but it also has antibacterial properties). This mask drains a bit, most of all if you use a quite liquid yogurt, so you shouldn’t wander around the house. Obviously it’s good (if you like yogurt and hiney) and, in case of leftover, you can eat it!
Have you ever tried homemade beauty products? Let me tell you I’m not into those complicated homemade concoctions that require lots of ingredients and precise doses, at that point I prefer to sustain skincare industry 😉. But this mask is easy-peasy, trust me!
