The third part of the posts about Fall/Winter 2014/15 shoes is dedicated to sneakers and slip-on.
When I was younger I was kind of horrified at the thought of wearing sneakers unless I was obliged, so I only wore them for gym class at school.
Now I really like them, maybe because there’re so many beautiful ones.
Also, after years spent wearing high heels and making my poor feet ache for no reason (well the reason was that the Carrie Bradshaw that is in me made me do so), I decided to find a balance and give flats and sneakers a chance. And God bless who invented wedge sneakers.
I’m one of those who thinks that there’s no need to break the bank to buy a similar version of Vans when you can buy the originals, which are beautiful and affordable, but I admit that there’re some expensive models I fell in love with (spoiler: they’re Miu Miu slip on).
Of course many brands understood the importance of sneakers, now “legitimized” even for evening dresses, but… am I the only one that finds couture sneakers (yes, I’m talking about Chanel’s and Dior’s)
I know people (not biased for fashion) that find them really ugly.
And we must remember that sneakers must be comfortable. You can suffer for beautiful high heels that make you feel like a goddess but your feet can’t ache when you’re wearing shoes that are supposed to be super comfortable.
Anyway, here are my picks. I chose some of my favorite sneakers and slip on.
I confess, some are expensive, but some are not.

La terza parte dei post dedicati alle scarpe per l’autunno/inverno 2014/15 è dedicata a sneakers and slip-on.
Quando ero più giovane pensare di mettere le scarpe da ginnastica quando non ero obbligata, cioè quando non ero a scuola durante l’odiata lezione di educazione fisica, mi faceva quasi orrore.
Adesso le sneakers mi piacciono proprio, forse perché ci sono molti modelli tra cui scegliere.
Dopo aver portato sempre i tacchi alti per anni e aver fatto soffrire i miei poveri piedi senza motivo (in effetti il motivo era che la Carrie Bradshaw che è in me aveva preso il sopravvento), ho deciso di dare a scarpe basse e da ginnastica un’opportunità. E che sia benedetto chi ha inventato le sneakers con la zeppa.
Penso che non ci sia bisogno di spendere una fortuna per delle scarpe simili alle Vans quando si possono comprare quelle originali a una prezzo accessibile. Ma ammetto che alcuni stilisti hanno disegnato alcuni modelli che mi piacciono tanto (spoiler: le slip on di Miu Miu).
Ovviamente molti brand hanno capito l’importanza delle sneakers, adesso sdoganate anche con l’abito da sera, ma… sono l’unica che trova le sneakers couture (sì, quelle di Chanel e Dior) per niente belle?
Conosco persone (diciamo dai gusti non obnubilati dall’amore sfrenato per tutto ciò che è modaiolo) che le trovano proprio brutte.
E non bisogna scordare che le sneakers devono essere comode. Va bene soffrire per dei tacchi alti che ci fanno sentire delle dee ma avere mal di piedi per portare scarpe che dovrebbero essere super comode è inconcepibile.
Comunque, queste sono le sneakers e le slip on che preferisco.
Lo ammetto, alcune sono costose, ma molte no.
