This song, “Thunder”, kinds of put me in a good mood. I really like Imagine Dragons and I’d love to see them live, one day. Right now, this is one of my favorite songs. I listen to it many times a day, because it gets a lot of airplay, at least by my favorite radio. And the more I listen to it, the more I like it!

The video is pretty weird, there’s no doubt, so you may not like it, but the song is great. Shot in Dubai and directed by Joseph Kahn, who directed many amazing (and stylish) music videos, it shows Imagine Dragons playing it cool in front of very flexible aliens, which have a pretty interesting style, to be honest. Look at the black ensemble of one of the aliens, I love those pants!

If you’re watching the third season of “Twin Peaks” you’re probably a bit confused about what’s going on but you have probably noticed that “Twin Peaks” still has a great soundtrack. I bought “Shadow” by Chromatics immediately after the end of the second episode of the show.

I fell in love with this song. It seems to be the new “The Nightingale”, sang by Julie Cruise in the first season of the “Twin Peaks”. Even if the subject of these two songs are completely different because “The Nightingale” is about waiting for love while “Shadow” is about the end of a love, they’re both sweet and melancholic.

The video is not particularly beautiful but I hope you liked the song!

Music is one of my biggest passions and I basically listen to music as much as I can. One of the first things I do when I wake up in the morning is turning the radio on and my iPod is always on my bedside table so I even listen to music while I sleep, or try to.

So I decided to share some music here, on the blog. Because… why not?

I heard this song, “Queen” by Perfume Genius, and watched its video for the first time by chance. I was watching the commercial of a perfume and Youtube suggested me this video, probably because of the word “perfume”. So, I felt kind of curious and I listened to the song and I loved it. I mean, really loved it! I think that was the first time ever Youtube suggested me something interesting.

Basically, this song made me want to start this new series of posts. Reading the comments under the video, I found out this song is part of “Mr Robot” soundtrack. And now I think I have another reason, besides Ramy Malek, to watch the show. Its great music.

The video of “Queen” is a bit bizarre, somewhat oneiric and also pretty stylish and visually interesting.
