“I’m Outta Time” by Oasis is the song of the week. It’s one of my favorite songs from the English band. It was written by Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel defined it “deceptively brilliant”. It’s a track from Oasis’ seventh studio album, “Dig Out Your Soul”, the band’s last album, released in 2008. Oasis split less than a year later.
At the end of the song (at 3:07, to be precise) you can listen to a short extract from one of the last interviews released by John Lennon. In case you don’t know, Liam Gallagher is very fond of John Lennon and The Beatles.
Enjoy this beautiful song.
The song of the week is “The Hype” by twenty one pilots. It’s the sixth song from the band’s fifth studio album, “Trench”. I’ve already chosen a song from this album for the song of the week, it’s “Chlorine”, which I still like so much.
“Beautiful” by The Avener (featuring Bipolar Sunshine) is the song of the week. I’ve never heard The Avener’s music until I read one of my favorite newsletter where he was mentioned. So I listened to a few songs and chose this one for the blog.
The song of the week is “Maps” by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, which has been in my music folder for a while. I hope you’ll like it. It’s from 2003 but it doesn’t seem 16 years old, at all.
A friend of mine made me discover Blood Red Shoes and this song, “Mexican Dress”. I hope you’ll like as much as I did.

Nine films about Charles Manson and his cult. After fifty years from the murder of Sharon Tate (and Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowsk, Steven Parent, and Abigail Ann Folger), Manson and his “family” still hold a dark fascination. {on Men’s Health}

Margot Robbie plays the role of Sharon Tate in one of the most talkabout films of the season, “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood”, and she also stars alongside Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman in “Bombshell”, a film based on the true story of the Fox News scandal.

Celine is launching eleven fragrances. The French house enters the world of scents with unisex perfumes with charming names (I particularly love Black Tie and Nightclubbing). Nine of them will available in fall, while the other two will be launched in 2020. Here’s one of the teaser.
Since Hedi Slimane’s taste in music is interesting, listen to the whole song he chose for the teaser of the campaign. It’s “Cave Crawl” by Warm Drag.

I haven’t read “Pride and Prejudice” but I love the film with Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen directed by Joe Wright so one day maybe I’ll read the novel, too. I admit I started to read “Sense and Sensibility” (I love the film, too!) but I found it a bit boring so I gave up. Anyway, if you are a fan of Jane Austin, these are some facts about “Pride and Prejudice”. {on Mental Floss}

I have a thing for key rings that look like the key tags of old hotels, so I like this one very much, also for the embossed writing. {on heartman}
I hate Christmas but I love Christmas films. And I love Emilia Clarke! So I’m looking forward to seeing “Last Christmas” (I even love the song!), which will be released in November. And I also want to wear my leopard faux fur.
