Net-à-Porter is always a great source of style inspiration so, while browsing the site looking for some pieces, I saw some interesting daytime outfits, very season appropriate (more or less, it’s so hot right now, in Italy!).
A simple tee + a gingham skirt + slingbacks. Gingham is such a feminine pattern and a white t-shirt with a small and pretty embroidery is a must-have, in my opinion.
A double-breasted blazer + a white t-shirt + refined jeans. I don’t care if distressed, boyfriend, cropped jeans are so in fashion now, I will always prefer refined, well cut and flattering jeans in dark wash. And a blazer in a neutral color is another must-have of a woman’s closet. As I wrote here, I love jackets worn on t-shirts.
V neck sweater + lacy bra + black pants. Maybe a so visible bra is not a good idea if you’re going to the office, but a camisole with lace details can be a good alternative. This outfit is simple and pretty chic. Add a statement piece of jewelry for an extra touch of style.
This Gucci total look (except for the bag) proves that a cardigan can look sooo cool. OK, Gucci can make almost everything look cool but take inspiration from this outfit and create yours with a loose cardigan and a printed tee. I love pants (and jeans) with contrasting side stripes.
