Even if I have a thing for tartan skirts, I don’t have one, yet. I like classic tartan skirts, with pleats and buckles, but I also like tartan skirts with a twist, like Alice’s Pig Django. It’s cool and feminine.
Django skirt is available also in green and purple, but I prefer this red version. While classic tartan is a woolen fabric, this skirt is made of cotton, which makes it very wearable in spring (and summer, why not?). Those who feel the cold should probably wear it with thick tights (I would, for sure).
I don’t know why I never posted about Alice’s Pig before. This English brand makes very pretty garments and it’s another ethic brand to watch. In fact, Alice’s Pig refuses to be “part of the exploitation of workers that is, unfortunately, still all too common in the fashion industry”. It sounds great, don’t you think?
