Let’s start this post about men’s style with a man who is universally considered stylish, David Beckham. I recently saw a photo of him with one of the simplest outfit a man (and a woman) can wear, a blue sweater and a pair of jeans.

A blue sweater is a must have. Blue is a color that basically flatters everyone and that you can match with many other colors. So keeping a blue sweater handy during summer (the weather is undeniably crazy) will be a good idea.
Just a few sweaters I found for you.
I don’t know what type of shoes Beckham was wearing but blue sweater + jeans look great with white sneakers.
Years ago I published a post about the jewelry created by Tiffany & Co. for “The Great Gatsby”, which is one of my most successful posts, ever. Some guys recently wrote me to ask about Gatsby’s signet ring, worn by Leonardo DiCaprio. It seems this ring cannot be found, unless you look for a secondhand one. So, if sporting Jay Gatsby’s ring is almost impossible, you can still find great signet rings.
Once a sign of identity and belonging to high classes, used to authenticate a letter or a document using sealing wax, the signet ring has partly lost its meaning and became a fashionable piece of jewelry that anyone can wear.
I think it’s quite charming that some men still wear a signet ring that has a meaning. Some jewelers made signet rings on request so you can design your own banner and kind of create a family ring. Take a look at Dexter, Rebus (you can see one of their rings among my picks for you) or get lost (more or less) among the many offers of Etsy, this shop caught my attention and has great reviews.
These are the ones I found for you:
Tom Wood “The Oval”.
Icon Brand. This costs only £14.99 (it’s made of zinc).
And since I love quotes…
