I chose some words by Bill Blass for the title of this post because, even if I’m not sure red is an actual cure for sadness, it seems that wearing red can improve your mood. If it doesn’t, at least you’ll be wearing a great, flattering color. In fact, as Mr Valentino Garavani stated, red is a color that flatters everybody.
Red is a statement color, even controversial, hence some people don’t feel comfortable wearing it. It’s associated with energy, strength, power, passion but also with war, anger, and danger.
According to some studies, men perceive women who wear red attractive while women perceive men who wear red aggressive and dominant.
So, a touch of red. Why not?
If you believe in a certain type of philosophy you may find interesting that red actives (or is supposed to activate) the root chakra, which fosters confidence and energy.
Regardless of what you believe in, red is for sure a great color.
These are the red pieces I found for you.
