“Snow White and the Huntsman” was one of the most awaited movies of this summer.
We all know the story of Snow White and her evil stepmother, envious of her beauty, and even if the plot of the movie is a bit different from the Disney cartoon, we all know who’s gonna triumph.
Are you gonna see it? Or, if you’ve already did it, did you like it? Starring Kristen Stewart (Snow White), Chris Hemsworth and his muscles (the huntsman) and the gorgeous Charlize Theron (the evil and so well dressed queen), I think that the movie is worthy of being seen because of the beautiful costumes designed by Colleen Atwood, who won three Academy Awards (for “Chicago”, “Memoirs of a Geisha” and “Alice in Wonderland”).
I think that the theme of beauty, pursued to any cost but doomed to fade away is really topical as the fact that the character of the famous Prince Charming is basically inexistent (does anybody still believe he exist?) and that Snow White saves her own life and then comes to the throne.
