I admit that when it comes to music (and food) I’m a creature of habit. But I’ve decided to try to be more open-minded and to listen to something new. Youtube must have understood this because recently it’s suggesting me some interesting artists and among them there’re The 1975.
So this week I chose “Robbers”, which I find a very beautiful song. It’s from The 1975 self-titled debut album, released in 2013. The video is a bit explicit, for what it means nowadays, and it’s quite stylish, the female protagonist wears some interesting clothes. A leopard shirt with red pants and black booties… quite inspiring. And Matthew Healys’s floral shirt… not bad at all. The concept of the video is inspired by “True Romance”, a 1993 film directed by Tony Scott, starring Patricia Arquette and Christian Slater.
I’m not trying to promote anything else but the music I like, here, but the band’s merchandising is pretty cool, most of all the denim section. Take a look at this embroidered denim jacket.
