I saw this super pretty gingham skirt by Sara Battaglia few days ago and I fell in love. It’s so feminine. Gingham is one the most feminine and chicest patterns. It immediately makes me think of summer, vacations in places like the French Riviera and Brigitte Bardot.
Sara Battaglia surely likes the same atmospheres, since her collection is inspired by the way women dressed in the ’50s. At the time, women dolled up even to go to the grocery. This obviously had it cons but that’a another story.
I would style this skirt with a white t-shirt and simple sandals or pumps. Forget about quirky heels and contrasting bags, let this lovely skirt be the main piece of your outfit.
You may have seen Queen Rania of Jordan wearing this skirt and looking chic as always.
