I’ve been using these three products for some months so it’s definitely time to let you know that I 100% like and recommend them.
The Ordinary Squalane. I have a thing for face oils especially after I quit using moisturizing creams for my night routine. I have already written how much I like The Ordinary Rose Hip Oil but when I finished it I decided to start using Squalane which, according to some people, is even better, since our body naturally produces it. I apply four drops of oil on the palm of my hands and then on my face (I know some women apply oils directly onto their face but I don’t) and massage it for about one minute. I like it because I feel my skin very moisturized but not greasy.
I only use Squalane at night but one or two drops added to daily moisturizer or foundation would add extra hydration and comfort to the skin. The Ordinary Squalane is 100% plant-derived and non-comedogenic. You can also apply it on your hair to make it shine and protect it from heat.
Sephora Lip Scrub. I wanted a lip scrub for a while and I decided to go for an affordable one, even if I’d like to try this one by Dior after seeing a video with Bella Hadid. So, I went for Sephora Lip Scrub because I usually love Sephora products and the word honey always sounds healthy to me! In fact I also bought the hand scrub (I’ll let you know about it, too). Let’s start saying the taste is pretty awful so keep your lips super shut when you remove it. Said that, it does a good job and leaves your lips smooth and soft. The exfoliating effect also makes them more vivid since scrubbing increases circulation.
Dr.Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer. I bought a box set of Dr.Jart+ products at Sephora, months ago, because I usually can’t resist to travel sizes and boxes, they’re a great way to try new beauty products and I must say Water Drop is one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used. I like everything about it. It’s lightweight, it absorbs quickly, it’s delicately citrus-scented and it’s super moisturizing. And with super I mean that it does the same work of a moisturizing serum and a moisturizer used together. I used a lot of moisturizers and, trust me, Water Drop is a great one. And it’s suitable for all skin types. I’m looking forward to trying other Dr.Jart+ products. In the same box there was the BB Cream, which I don’t particularly like because of the color that doesn’t suit my complexion and Dermaclear™ cleansing water, which I haven’t used, yet (so many beauty products, so little time!).
