I recently started to use these three beauty products and so far I love them. They’re definitely going to stay in my beauty routine and I 100% recommend them.
The Ordinary Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil. Months ago I read that rosehip oil does wonders for your skin because it’s full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids so, obviously, I decided to buy it. I realized that oils are better than moisturizers for my skin when it comes to night routine so at the moment I prefer to use oils because I think they are healthier (one or few ingredients instead of many and no chemical preservatives).
I started using The Ordinary Rose Hip Oil last summer and I must say that, so far, I totally love it. Three or four drops are enough to moisturize my face and neck. It absorbs quickly and it doesn’t leave my skin greasy. It smells delicately and I think it’s doing its job. I think I’ll probably add a couple of drops to my foundation when the weather will be colder.
REN Clarimatte Clarifying Toner. I’m a huge fan of toners and I don’t understand women who skip this step of the beauty routine. I didn’t need a toner when I bought this one by REN but I wanted to try something new and, hopefully, more effective. This toner is for combination and oily skin and it’s supposed to unclogs pores and slough off dead skin. So far, I think it’s one of the best toners I’ve ever used. I feel my skin clean and smooth after using it.
REN Clarimatte Clarifying Toner contains AHA’s (Alpha Hydroxy Acids which are anti-aging), salicin, which has anti-inflammatory properties and flavonoids, that are among the most antioxidant substances available in cosmetics and have soothing properties. That’s a lot for a toner, don’t you think? REN is becoming one of my favorite skincare brands. I particularly love this eye cream.
Sephora Beauty Amplifier Afterglow Primer & Luminizer. I have a thing for Sephora products, they’re quite affordable and usually work well. I bought this primer months ago because I read some reviews and one of them said that it can be used alone just to add a touch of color to your face, when you don’t need to do your make-up but you still want a bit of covering and glow. When I tried it in a store its texture won me over. It’s white and grainy but it immediately becomes very soft and its color switches from white to nude.
Sephora Beauty Amplifier can be used as a primer (and I think it works) or added to the foundation (it’s pretty moisturizing). You can use it alone to achieve a natural effect or to retouch your make-up throughout the day.
